The copy of old Etruscan Sculpture with image of She-wolf breastfeeding the founders of Rome - Romulus and Remus the legendary figures - was installed in the late 80 in front of the Museum of History of Moldova. The sculpture symbolizes the Latin origin of Romanian Bessarabia. The sculpture pedestal is engraved a quote from poet Mihai Eminescu, about the origin of Romanian nation.

Founded in 1958, Cahul Museum has over 16,000 exhibits of indisputable artistic value, from research activity, acquisitions and donations. Museum is the building where in the interwar period, successively activated а county court and town hall. Museum fonds host a rich collection of weapons, archeology exhibits and numismatics, old books and documents. A separate place is the ethnographic collection, which consists of folk costumes, carpets and other fabrics.

Trajan's Wall "From Above" - is a stronghold of the late antique period. It crosses Moldova from the Prut River until Nistru River, from the Leova town until the Teghina town, besides the villages Trojan Ialpugeni, Caracui, Sărăţica Nouă (Leova), Pervomaisk, Gradiste, Coştangalia, Satu Nou (Cimislia), Ciufleşti, Baimaclia, Salcuta, Marianovca-de-sus, Zaim, Causeni, Chircăieşti (Causeni), Chitcani, Copanca. According to I. Hîncu, it has a length of 120 km, its original height ranged between 3-4 m, width - 10-15m, being seconded by a trench duged to the north, deep: 2-3 meters. Currently it’s height is of 0.5 m.

2 km from Cantemir, near the village Stoianovca, is a military cemetery, where they were buried the earthly remains of soldiers and Romanian officers who fell in the battles of June-July 1941. In 1996, at the initiative of local people, the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Moldova and the Roumanian Embassy has installed here a gravestone, a cross and it was planted a park.

 Romanian Literature Museum "Mihail Kogalniceanu" (originally Republican Museum of Literature MSSR) was founded at the initiative of the Union of Writers of Moldova, by decision of the MSSR Supreme Soviet of Ministers of February 10, 1965. Museum began to activate on 1 April that year hosted by the Union of Writers. In 1983 the Museum was given the name of the writer and encyclopedic scholar Dimitrie Cantemir, transformed in 1991 into the National Center for Literary Studies and museography "Mihail Kogalniceanu" and in 1997 the Museum of Romanian Literature "Kogalniceanu". The museum was created to discover, collect and preserve all the values of Romanian writing.
